Lately in the VOC SF Youth, we've been talking about identity. In today's day and age, our youth gets so caught up in peer pressure and trying to figure out who they want to be and how they wish to represent it. We also watched a video talking about our identity in the form of a mask and how if we decide to perceive ourselves in a way God has not called us to be and show our faces differently to the world (just like a mask would) WE do NOT receive the love that people are giving us, our MASK IS receiving it! Are you identifying yourself accordingly or do you also need to remove your mask in order to receive all of God's true blessings? #beblessed

The cross of Jesus Christ is my enduring symbol of hope, salvation, and healing. The cross of Christ is the sign writing of almighty God on the billboards of history. Our banner is no mere arbitrary artistic design, but the Lord Himself, visable to all, riveted to that wooden "pole," exhibiting forever His unrestrained love, the living banner of a dying Savior. We set Him forth, the crucified One and through Him we conquer.

His banner over me is love. That heavenly Commander-in Chief needed no ensign and never lost a battle! And He is your Chief today!

I rejoice in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; He is alive today as He was in Bible days, and He is the Lord who heals me. Healings demontrate the essential truths of Christianity, and show us Jesus as He really is. If we look back, we see that what Jesus was then, He is now.

Highlights from our 2016 VOCSF-VBS Summer Camp. Last day spent in the sun enjoying each other's fellowship. Thank to all those who made this camp possible, and especially to those who came out and took part in the 4 day classes that were held. Lord bless, until next year!!!

Thank you for giving me the gift of your Holy Spirit as my continual source of power! So long as Jesus was there with them, they had continual power, but when He left, they had another Helper and power source: the Holy Spirit. He is your same power source today!

We can only do what we have power to do. God promises that you will never be given too much to bear, and that you will not be asked to do more than you are capable of doing with His help.

I am rich in the assurance that Christ Jesus has cleansed me from all sin and clothed me in His righteousness. Many people want assurance of salvation to register in their feelings. This is a common mistake, which often has a disastrous outcome. God never said that emotions would be the test of salvation. Assurance is not dependent on psyche, but on His eternal Word.

"I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you'" (Isaiah 41:13). Although your life may sometimes feel like it is spinning out of control, you can draw on the assurance that the Holy Spirit is never farther away than your next prayer.

Without Christ in my life, I have no light. But because He infuses me with His light, not only do I reflect His light, but I can be a source of light and life in the darkened world around me. Let us choose to be reflectors of God's light in a world of darkness.
