If you are organized, attentive to detail, and not afraid to get your hands dirty we are currently hiring a Mechanic here at V&N. The skills for this position is listed below: Perform maintenance inspections knowledgeable in oil and filter service experienced in replacing worn belts, hoses, and lights... Can complete and input work order and/or inspection sheets Must be able to weld must have their own tools. 2 years of experience, preferred Mechanic experience Brake experience Hydraulic experience Electrical experience Pay is based on experience, it is a full-time position, Monday - Friday. Pay frequency is weekly. Benefits include Dental, Health, Life, and Vision insurance. Located in Fresno, preferred.

Creek Fire is still very much alive and active.

Working up on Burrough Mountain last few days making a fire break. Air support friend filmed from above and catches some of the devastation.

It’s been an honor working alongside these dedicated men the last 12 days. We are a long way from done, but we are committed to see this completely contained.

Day 11 - More fire breaks in between Shaver and Dinkey. Progress is slow.

Yesterday we worked on building a fire line between Dinkey Creek Road and Shave Lake just east of the Boy Scout Camp. This was to keep the fire from coming back around into Shaver.
