Since the news of salons being shut down (once again). Not gonna lie...I was a little bummed. There’s many reasons but mostly because I would be missing my salon family. I don’t know how long our doors will have to be closed but once I get word we can reopen I will let you all know. Mrs Kathy gave me the freedom to do whatever i wanted with her haircolor. . . . 1st thing that came to my mind was that i wanted to make her lighter, and that i wanted to make her skin look GLOWY, HEALTHY and BEST VERSION OF HERSELF! (Her skin color is cool with red undertones). .... So i did a mixture of highlights, foilage, color, and toner. . For her base color i used a brown copper. I shadow rooted with the same color as her base to soften harshness of highlights and toned with a beige strawberry blonde color. . If your asking yourself... why would she use copper, red, and gold tones on a person who has red undertones on her skin? . Although it seems like these colors wont counteract with her skin. Sometimes red and copper can be very FLATTERING and can make your skin POP and give you that GLOWY look rather than fighting the skin you were born with. .
