ATTENTION 8TH GRADE FAMILIES! Two weeks ago our VMMS Yearbook Club asked all 8th-grade students to submit a baby picture of themselves for the yearbook. We would like to celebrate each and every one of our students this way. Although many students have shared photos, we still have a lot who have not and we want to make sure everyone is included. Please email me your child's photo at [email protected]. Include your child's first and last name, and don't forget to attach... the image. You may also text me the photo. My school number for texting is 619-289-7329--include your child's first and last name in the text message, please. Photos are due by February 26th. Thank you to all the families who came to school for Materials Pick Up days this week. We enjoyed seeing you on campus and we appreciate your support for your student’s learning. First semester report cards are now available on the Parent Portal website. All students and parents can log in to view their report cards in the Report Card History section of the Grades tab. A hard copy of the report card will also be mailed home to all families soon. Vista Magnet uses the IB grading system to give detailed feedback on student academic grades, work habits, and citizenship. This week is Kindness Week! Our counselors have put together a collection of activities and resources to promote kindness for everyone, every day. We also have themed dress up days each day this week, Monday’s theme is Crazy for Kindness - wear crazy hair. ¡Esta semana es la Semana de la Bondad!
