November's first week has come to a close, with the promise of actual autumn weather. At Heritage, we welcomed November with Reader's Theater, "Trash" Art, and election prognostications. Enjoy the weekend safely. Wear your masks. Here are your Highlights for November 2-6. See you Monday!

It is so spooooooky that Halloween and Dia de los Muertos is upon us. It is creepy that Student Led Conferences are completed. It is downright scary how hard at work our scholars at Heritage are. Whether working on communicating in multiple languages, or trying to save the world's endangered species, they will let nothing stand in the way of reaching their ghouls, er, we mean goals. Last night our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), called Padres Unidos de Vista, met and had a very productive meeting! There are 10 weeks behind us in this school year, and it seems as though the weather just might be turning towards the appropriate seasonal weather. This week saw the return of the Cyber Patriots competition, with a whole new team, and a massive donation of school supplies from Walmart. Here are your Highlights for the week of October 19-23. Stay safe and see you on Monday!

Thank you to Walmart for donating loads of excess back-to-school supplies to Vista today! We will make sure these are put to good use!

It certainly doesn't feel like autumn weather, but we are quickly creeping up on Halloween, and Dia de los Meurtos. This reminds us that things aren't always predictable so we at Vista Heritage Global Academy continue to adapt to make the best of unpredictable circumstances. Phase 1 of Heritage's reopening plan brought some familiar faces back to campus this week. We were so happy to see a small group of students (masked) face to (masked) face, even if it was from 6 feet away. Strict health protocols were in place and enforced, as we took one small step towards normal. In honor of our young scholars, who are enduring as much of this challenge as the adults, if not more, we present this week's Heritage Highlights. Stay safe, keep washing your hands, wear your mask, distance when you can. We all need to protect one another now. We'll see you all again Monday morning. Class begins at 8:30 a.m.
