What should I do if I have bad breath? In healthy people, the major reason is due to microbial deposits on the tongue, especially the back of the tongue. Some studies have shown that simply brushing the tongue reduced bad breath by as much as 70 percent.

This is a family-friendly event and is open to participants of all ages. Those who will join the cleanup will have to bring a completed waiver on the day of the event. People are also advised to bring extra water or snacks, and should wear sturdy closed toe shoes and clothing appropriate for a cleanup. Hats and sunscreen are also recommended.

An amalgam is a blend of copper, silver, tin and zinc, bound by elemental mercury. Dentists have used this blended metal to fill teeth for more than 100 years. The ADA states that silver fillings are safe and that studies have failed to find any link between silver containing mercury and any medical disorder.

Brush twice daily. Use toothpaste with fluoride. Replace your toothbrush every three to four months, or sooner if the bristles are frayed.
