In the mountains above Rialto, Lytle Creek is a small but mighty town. Like much of California, this beautiful landscape was once home to gold miners looking to make a fortune. One miner, Louis Abadie, is said to have done just that. This breathtaking vista features Silverwood Lake Recreation Area, located between Lake Arrowhead and the Angeles National Forest. Silverwood Lake is not actually a lake, but a reservoir and a California State Park.
