We are lucky to live in wide open desert. The Tortoise Preserve http://www.tortoise-tracks.org/wptortoi/visiting-the-dtrna/ in California City is open, with a naturalist on site, as is Red Rock Canyon State Park. The wild flowers are probably at peak right now. Just the drive out will do the soul good. Do please practice the guidelines in this poster so that we can continue to enjoy the great outdoors.
