Family and friends of Vision 2000, we are trying to save our summer program and we need your help! For 20 years we have given children an opportunity to catch upon their critical math and reading skills on a College campus. No other program is simultaneously closing the achievement gap and the opportunity gap in manner we are. In order to create 21st Century citizens, in addition to academics, our students at every grade level, are exposed to all of the S.T.E.A.M. activities we can fit into our time together. I had the honor of watching my other mother be hooded. California State University, Sacramento honored the great Hazel Mahone with an Honorable Doctorate. Well ...deserved as you all know. I love this woman from the depths of my soul. I’m proud to be her Soror. Her Sister in Christ. And her adopted daughter. I signed the papers for her and forced them in her pocket !!!! See more
