Vintage and Channel Islands Marinas

In celebration of the Museum re-opening, CIMM will be hosting a food drive for Food Share of Ventura County. Non-perishable food item donations (see below for details) can be made "by land" at the Museum's patio or "by sea" at the Museum's dock from 10 am to 4 pm on October 24th.

DREDGING AT CHANNEL ISLANDS HARBOR PROMENADE SCHEDULED TO BE CLOSED OCTOBER 12 TO JANURARY 31, 2021. This project is the biennial maintenance dredging of the ...Channel Islands Harbor federal navigation channel and sand trap, and maintenance dredging of Port Hueneme Harbor. The dredged sand will be used to help replenish the City of Port Hueneme Beach. This project is funded by the Army Corps of engineers and the US Navy, and sponsored by the Channel Islands Harbor and the City of Port Hueneme. There are enough funds to dredge approximately 2 million cubic yards of sand with placement at Hueneme Beach. The necessary equipment to shape, groom and dress the beach during fill operations makes it unsafe for the public to enter the construction area and requires the closure of the Promenade area.
