Here is an easy way to help fight hunger in Marin right now! Every year, the Free Dining Room at St. Vincent de Paul Society provides more than 200,000 meals for our hungry neighbors. Since the pandemic began, we have continued to provide hot, nutritious meals for takeaway, packed neatly in to-go containers. But now we are out of handled bags! Thank you for helping us to help others when you donate your clean, reusable paper or plastic bags to the Free Dining Room any day, 7AM-3PM, 820 B St. in Downtown San Rafael.

Between now and Thanksgiving, the Free Dining Room at St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin will serve more than 5,400 total meals. But our kitchen has run out of our staple protein TURKEY! We are reaching out to community members to ask, Do you have room in your shopping cart for an extra turkey or two for your hungry neighbors? Thank you in advance for your generosity.
