What is the real estate market going to look like in 2021? What we've seen so far is that people are moving during shelter in place. Work flexibility and a desire for more spacious living is motivating people to make a change in where they call home. Inventory is in short supply. Buyer demand for homes is strong and there are not enough homes on the market which means buyers have to compete to get their new home. The competition is driving home prices higher.
We have seen a sharp decline in inventory this month (almost half) and buyer demand remains high. If you've thought about selling, now is a good time.
