A note from the Chair of the recent VPCA Halloween celebration: A sincere thank you to all of you who helped make our 2017 Halloween party a success! We had a great turnout and from the looks and sounds of it, everyone had a great time! I'd like to acknowledge the members of the Community Events Committee who attended the meetings to plan the event and were the backbone of the volunteer crew; Ros Bregozzo, Bonnie Wright, and Claire Hiller. Without you it could not have h...appened! Block captains, you are where it all starts! Ben, Steve, Kay, Helen, Jan, Carol, Denielle, Robert, Leila, Jeric, Salpi, Jean Anne, Bonnie, Mary Bob, Augie; thank you for delivering the invitations! Jose Monroy helped us from 3:00 until the last decoration was boxed up and the last trash bag was removed from the greenbelt. Jose, thank you. Your help was invaluable. Anna Lisa Larson, Claire Hiller, Ann Monroy, Bonnie & Bill Wright, Linda and grandson Joey - thank you for serving pizza! Thank you Steve and Sue Morgan for picking up, delivering, and helping to serve 28 large pizzas! A special thank you to the VPCA board for providing the funds for clean up. What a difference it made! Jean Anne Turner, Bonnie Wright, Anne Monroy and I were able to focus on nothing but carefully packing up the decorations. The better care we take of them now the longer they will last us! Speaking of which, all of those decorations have been loaned to us year after year by Samantha & Chris Younghans- Haug. THANK YOU! Robert Donohue, thank you for being an awesome MC and DJ. Carl Watkins grew up in VPCA. He returned on 4th of July to decorate Michelson with these beautiful American flags. Thank you, Carl. We appreciate it.
