We did it. We raised the money and Ordered The tricycle for handicapped children. Oh my gosh. The Love and the out pour was amazing. I am so thankful to this town. This Community. During the hardest times that the United States has ever seen. People reached out and helped one little boy. I am so so thankful. His mama is beyond words. Her and his grandma have been crying tears of joy. You are all so so amazing. Thank you. She will be sharing pictures of Grayson.... She will report his progress to everyone. Never ever give up. Always remember that there are people out here who care and always always believe in the things unseen. Because you just never know when something good is around the corner. Always- Juli Jette

My Employees and I have been touched by this little angel. His name is Grayson Grayson is turning three next week. His mother Bethany works for us at The Village. She’s mainly behind the scenes. She makes our lovely cinnamon rolls and bakes all of our dinner rolls. She has waited tables for us in the past and hopefully in the future. But the story is about Grayson. He was born July 31, 2017 at 8 lbs. 7 oz. 20 1/4 inches long. He had his first surgery three hours af...ter he was born. His back was opened and they had to close it. Grayson was born with spina bifida. One week later he had his second surgery to help drain the verticals in his brain they installed a shunt. Five months old his first shunt malfunctioned. He had to have brain surgery. At seven months old he had another surgery to have a cyst removed from his spine. At 18 months old this second shunt malfunctioned. Another brain surgery. After each surgery he always wakes up with a smile and is ready to go and conquer the world With all of the MRIs and all the test and scans Grayson has been under anesthesia 10 times in his short life. During his mothers pregnancy she was told that he would never walk and he would have many many learning disabilities. Well they were wrong. Grayson now walks with a walker. He is very intelligent He never lets his disabilities get in His way. He communicates extremely well. He voices what he wants and when he wants it. His mother says he never misses a beat. Grayson’s ankles are twisted in words. He is a learning balance. There is a special tricycle that teaches him balance and physical skills plus motor skills. Of course this comes at a high price. Village Coffee Shop is reaching out to the community once more to pay it forward. We would like to invite you to come and help support our little Angel. We are fundraising for Grayson. We need to raise $2500. This will pay for the tricycle for handicapped children and the shipping. So stop by say hello, give a smile and help us to help him. Wow we have been busy this morning. First day for the Great Plates Delivery Program. I finally got a call from Santa Joaquin County Health Department. We finally get to open inside starting tomorrow I am so excited for this. Hence we are also in the middle of painting. Yes Lance is doing a terrific job. Debbie has been so helpful with helping me organize menu s. ... Our little Eva has been popping in. To just be supportive. Violet has stuck with me everyday! David is back full time. Anna continues to make our lemon Meringue pie’s. Jams are being made Biscuits are being prepped. Social distancing is being set up. Clean clean clean. All the time. Gloves and mask Life is good.
