Announcing - The Villa Marin Annual Halloween Costume Parade!!! A little different this year as we practice social distancing and face masks, but fun just the same. You must sign up in the activities book at the Reception desk to participate . The parade will take place on 10/30, starting at 4:00 PM. Residents that are not participating can open their doors and watch the parade as it passes by. Instructions are available from Pat in Entertainment and Excursions.

Our weekend movie is "Harriet", featuring Best Actress Oscar nominated performance by Cynthia Erivo. Showing in the Auditorium at 7:30PM on Saturday 2/22 and Sunday 2/23 at 1:30PM. 2019, Drama, 2 Hr., 6 Min., Rated PG-13.

Read up this weekend as Villa Marin book club is on Monday, 2/24. Our book this month is The Library Book by Susan Orlean. Please note the time change - 3:00PM in the card room.

Well, not really a "chicken dinner" but it is the "Villa Marin Lottery Dinner" this evening @ 4:45 p.m. Your dining partners will be chosen by drawing numbers from a hat. 6 people to a table. Sign up on the clip board at Reception. There are 40 spots and a waiting list. Please gather in the Main Lobby at 4:45 p.m. to check in and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine.

Up coming theater event this Saturday. We are off to see Gilbert & Sullivan’s "Princess Ida" at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. This production, presented by Lamplighters Music Theatre, was originally written as a satire on feminism, women’s education, and Darwinian evolution, Lamplighters’ own version modifies this slightly to reflect modern views.
