Hello Students and Parents, Recently many of you have called to inquire about our 2020 summer enrichment program. We will have the summer program this year, but we are continuing to work out the details to make it the most effective and safest for everyone. We are awaiting more information from the governor's directives and the World Health Organization (WHO) for guidelines on how to safely open. We hope to have our summer enrichment program finalize within the next week or ...two. Afterwards, all of our students and parents will be informed. Health and safety for our students and teachers is the utmost importance to us. Extra steps we have implemented this summer to keep everyone safe are: *Giving staff and teachers temperature checks *Offering masks and face shields *Sanitizing computer stations, classrooms, restrooms etc. after each sessions *Hand sanitizers and Kleenex at multiple locations for use Please stay safe and healthy. Dear Parents and Students, At the Viet My Tutoring Center, the health and safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. In response to the outbreak of COVID-19, we are diligently monitoring updates from the CDC and the WHO to ensure we are taking the necessary precautions. In early March, the proactive measures we took at Viet My Tutoring Center included providing hand sanitizers, education on preventive measures for staff and students, disinfecting desk and work ...areas before each session. As the situation worsen and the local district closed, we followed the advice of medical professionals and we closed our center as well. We hope the situation will improve and a vaccine found soon. In the meantime, we hope every student continues to strive and perform well in school. Our annual Lunar New Year celebration. We had an awesome turnout. Thank you to all those in attendance and all those that helped make it happened. Summer Field trip!!! This year for our annual summer field trip; we journeyed to the California Science Center in Los Angeles. The California Science Center is a dynamic destination where families, adults and children can explore the wonders of science through interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, innovative programs and awe-inspiring films. Our students had a fun, hands-on experience in their many galleries and exhibits. They learned about human inventions and innovations, the life processes of living things and more.
