This is my Tribe, My Why!!! Often in my sessions I am told, I just want to be Normal. I challenge this statement with, what is Your Normal? Every time I respond with this question, I am met with a confused look. I follow with, who are you outside the roles you play? Take out being a Parent, sibling, friend, coworker. Who are you? Most people can’t answer this question. We are so use to putting on a show for everyone. Very rarely are we True to ourselves. There is a differe...nce between how we want people to perceive us and who we really are. Aside from being a Mother of 3, a Wife who has been married for 19 years, a daughter, a friend, a Therapist... these roles do not define me. Who am I? I am afraid to be vulnerable and exposed, I am ready for a challenge even when I am feeling insecure- not going to lie depending on the challenge I might be doubtful, I am still learning how to be Me, I am in love with life, I am free to dance whenever the right music comes on, I am a leader, I inspire...
