We’re taking a break... Hello friends! We’ve really been enjoying getting back to business, introducing our new menu items, and of course seeing your faces - we missed you!... But with the numbers of people who’ve returned to work at The MET still so low, and the spike in COVID cases causing renewed concern in our communities, we have made the difficult decision to close down again and wait until more people are ready to come back to work. We pray that will be soon, and plan to reevaluate reopening in 2 weeks. In the meantime please be safe, and stay well. Thank you so much for sticking with us. Verde Kitchen will be OPEN this week. In observance of Social Distancing protocols we have decided, however, to cancel Happy Hours so we will be closing at 2:00pm. We encourage everyone to reduce contact by taking advantage of our Online Ordering system. You can place your order and pay online. We will send you a message when your order is ready, and it will be packaged up and waiting for you when you arrive.... We assure you that we at Verde Kitchen are taking the COVID-19 Pandemic very seriously, and our staff has been trained and is observing CDC best practices for food preparation and handling. *Our cashiers/servers are routinely cleaning frequent touchpoints including tablets, counters, tables & chairs. *All food preparers / handlers are thoroughly washing hands, keeping arms clean, following cleaning procedures with >20 seconds rinsed under warm water. *Cooking and preparation surfaces are kept sanitary throughout each shift. *We are working with the best food suppliers in the area, who are proactively following CDC guidelines and aligning themselves with current best practices. *There is no evidence of COVID-19 being transmitted via food.
