Ventura County Fairgrounds Swap Meet Farmers Market

Good afternoon everyone. Many people have been contacting us to ask when we will reopen. We want to assure you that we are NOT permanently closed. We will be open again, but we still don't know exactly when. We would also like to address that we have heard and seen the announcements from the county and the state that included swap meets being open, but we have not been cleared to open. The Fairgrounds assures us they are working diligently on a plan to get us back open but at... this point they are not ready. There are still too many details and plans to be worked out. We want to open as soon as we can, but not too soon as to ensure everyone's safety to the best of our ability. We will continue to share updates as we get them. Thank you all again for your continued support and patience.

Good evening everyone. We hope this message finds you all safe and well. We would first like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, first responders, and essential employees putting their lives at risk to keep us all safe and keep the world turning. You are our guardian angel's and our rocks. We know there are a lot of uncertainties during these troubling times. But we want to assure you all that we will open again. We just don't know exactly when. With as many numbers of peopl...e that visit us from all over, we can not be certain that if we were to open, we could keep you all healthy. Your health is our primary concern, so we will not open until we feel we can do so safely. And because California is still closed for nonessential businesses, we will remain closed until that changes. We know many of you are itching to get back. We are too. But at this point, we can best serve and protect our community by remaining closed and staying at home. Someone recently said that "we all stay home so that when we come back, nobody is missing". We can and will overcome this if we stay vigilant. Please stay home and please stay safe. We thank you all for your continued support and patience. And we will see you all again when this is over.

Apparently the use of the word indefinitely has confused some people. As I said before, this is only temporary. We WILL be coming back, just as soon as this all of this craziness is over. We apologize for any misunderstanding. And we thank you for your support and patience in these trying times.

Good afternoon everyone. It is with heavy heart that we bring you this news. California is calling for a mandatory cancellation of all large gatherings. Because we are on state property, we are obligated to comply. Due to this, all of our shows will be indefinitely postponed. This is only temporary. These are going to be some trying times for all of us in the near future, mentally, physically, and financially. We must work together. We must help each other out. We must come ...together as a community. We are all in this together. But we will overcome and persevere. As a community and as humanity. We've done it before, we will do it again. It's just what we do! So stay vigilant, keep safe, and we'll see you all again when this passes.

Good evening everyone! Unfortunately, the weather is going to get the best of us again. We have decided to close in Ventura tomorrow, November 27th. And of course, Santa Barbara on Thursday the 28th will also be closed due to Thanksgiving. You all have a very happy, fun, and safe Thanksgiving!
