VCDCSS is Thankful for DADS! Check out our link in bio for the full article from fathers.com on why we are thankful for dads. Here are ten reasons why you, dad, really make a difference and why I’m really thankful for you today: 1.You’re the one whose opinion matters most. 2.Your attention communicates more per square inch than you can imagine.... 3.When you show up, it carries more relational points than almost anyone else. 4.When you provide for their needs, they settle into knowing they’ll be okay. 5.Your time spent with them shouts that they really do have value. 6.Your smile tells them they’re loved and special. 7.You make their day when you affirm them and respond positively. 8.Your support makes them believe they can do anything as long as you’re there. 9.When you’re proud of them, they thrive in doing anything to ensure that you are. 10.When you’re around, they feel safe. So just in case you ever think that your presence in your children’s life is insignificant or is less than essential, please trust me when I say that this couldn’t be further from the truth. linkhttps://fathers.com/michelle-watson-canfield/10-reasons-im-really-thankful-for-fathers/?newsletter&goal=0_3862caaca1-ee89bbbad2-229419789&mc_cid=ee89bbbad2&mc_eid=5c5ad94992

November 2018 brought tremendous heartbreak to our community. To the first responders that performed with incredibly bravery and commitment during back to back tragedies, we are forever grateful. Thank a first responder today for their commitment to their craft and our community. #tostrong #borderlinestrong #borderline12 #12actsofkindness

Sometimes the most important kindness you can show, is to yourself. Take time to do something you enjoy, take a nap, or get outdoors. We cannot care for others if we do not care for ourselves! Consider making one of your 12 Acts of Kindness to be something for yourself. #tostrong #borderlinestrong #borderline12 #12actsofkindness

If you receive payments on an Electronic Payment Card, your old EPPIC Card will be inactive after September 9th. Although new payment cards were mailed out beginning in Spring 2020, many were returned due to incorrect addresses. If your old card isn’t working, DON’T WORRY! Your money is safe and we will get it to you as quickly as possible. Please check the information below for what to do if you have a new card, and what to do if you did not get a new card. ... I HAD AN OLD EPPICARD AND GOT A NEW WAY2GO CARD: If you have a new Way2Go card, the funds will be transferred on September 16, 2020. After that date you can check your balance by calling the Way2Go customer service number on the back of your card, by visiting the goprogram.com website, or by downloading the Way2Go mobile app. I HAD AN OLD EPPICARD BUT DID NOT RECEIVE A NEW WAY2GO CARD: If you had an EPPICard but do not have a new Way2Go card, call the EPPICard help desk at 1-877-777-1617 and speak to a customer service representative. A check for any money remaining on your EPPICard will be sent at your request. If your address is out of date, you can update your address when you call them to get your check. Please be aware that it can take up to two months for the check to arrive. We are sorry for the delay. You should already have received any August payments via paper check. Meanwhile, please visit our Payments page and enroll in either the new Way2Go card program or Direct Deposit, as California will be going paperless as of December 31, 2020. Download information about the benefits of the Way2Go program in English or Spanish here (https://childsupport.ca.gov//2020/08/EPC-TwoSide_7-2020.pdf). I HAD AN OLD EPPICARD BUT HAVE NOT BEEN RECEIVING REGULAR PAYMENTS: If you have not been receiving payments, you may be unaware of the transition in our Electronic Payment Card program. If you had an old EPPICard, you will simply need to enroll again (https://childsupport.ca.gov/state-disbursement-unit/d) in the Way2Go program, which offers several improvements over the old card. If you have a bank account and would prefer Direct Deposit, enroll here (https://childsupport.ca.gov/state-disbursement-unit/) .

When was the last time your order was reviewed? We can help with the review of your order to determine if a modification is needed. Contact us: Call (866) 901-3212... Text (805) 316-6272 Online Inquiry www.cse.ca.gov/CustomerConnect Here are some helpful points to consider: Either parent (or a guardian) can request a modification from their local child support agency To request a modification you must have an open case (a case can be opened at any time) Your child support order can go up or down based on information gathered (the order may not be what you expected) There is no charge for requesting a modification Even if your request is denied by your local agency, you can still go to court to have a judge or a county child support commissioner decide your order (your local Family Law Facilitator can help you do this) #CSAM2020 #VCDCSS #togetherhelpingkidsthrive #truepowerofchildsupport #childsupport #childsupportmatters #helpingfamiliesthrive
