MEATLESS MONDAYS - It’s still winter and this Cream of Mushroom Soup will keep you warm . You will need 1/4 red onion, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tbsp of butter, 1 tsp of salt , 2 tsp of black pepper, 1/4 cup of fresh minced basil, 2 tsp chicken bouillon, 1 cup heavy cream, 2 cups of water , 3 types of mushrooms ... In a non stick pan add butter and sauté onion til translucent. Add garlic and pre washed mushrooms (the moisture will help with sauce) and sauté until mushrooms are cooked and you see a brown like sauce released from the moisture in the mushrooms . You then add water and let simmer for 3 min , add heavy cream and spices . Garnish with basil . Voila ! Enjoy #creamofmushroom #meatlessmonday #winter #insurance #stocktonca #newlifeinsurance
