Our grower members represent over 50% of all conventional and over 70% of all organic leafy greens crop acres on the West Coast. Although most members grow a wide variety of vegetables and berries, our primary product focus is leafy greens, both conventionally and organically grown. #leafygreengrowers #VegCoOp #farmers #crops #organicallygrown #conventionallygrown

We don’t believe in being an adversary to processors or shippers and we don’t exist for the benefit of just the largest growers. We believe in working with all stakeholders in the supply chain to make sure grower member issues are heard and input costs are recouped. The industry starts with the dirt and is dependent on the growers that farm it. #VegCoOp #ourphilosophy #veggrowers #farmers

Our primary focus is helping members improve returns to their ranch through fully leveraging those economies of scale that can be achieved through collaboration and information as opposed to individual efforts. #VegCoOp #vegetablefarmers #farmers #growers #leafygreens

Our focus is providing information and a forum that members can use to assess input costs and market position relative to the industry and peers, with the objective to improve returns to the ranch. For more info visit our website: https://vegcoop.com/what-we-provide/ #VegCoOp

We believe in growing the healthiest food in the world, while being good stewards of the land. It all begins with the dirt and the people who work it and harvest its abundance. We are also committed to taking care of the communities in which we farm. #veggiegrowers #growers #vegCoOp #farmers #farms #farmingcommunity #ourmission

Dues are assessed annually each October based on estimated crop acres. Dues are calculated on a sliding scale based only on the total number of crop acres grown for the eight major leafy greens (iceberg, romaine, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, spring mix, kale, and green/red leaf). Conventional and organic crop acres are combined for dues assessment. In 2017 we represented over 150,000 crop acres in California, Arizona, and Nevada for the leafy greens listed above. Only growers or those persons engaged in the production of agriculture can be members. Members can participate in conventional sub-groups, organic, or both. #VegCoOp #growers #farmers #leafygreengrowers #crops #farming #agriculture
