We know you’re so excited to go on some autumn nature walks with your dog, but for this #FallSafetyTip, make sure you watch out for snakes, some of which can be venomous! They’re preparing for hibernation and may be a little crankier if disturbed by a curious pet! When walking or hiking, if something happens to your pet, be sure to contact your veterinarian as soon as possible. #VCApets

HELP DR. MELLIEN FIGHT CANCER! We are sad to report that a doctor at one of our sister hospitals, Dr. Mellien, has been very unexpectedly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She has now started chemotherapy and will fight this as hard as she can! Dr. Mellien hopes to return to the office and resume seeing patients on at least a part-time basis in the near future. Your care and support means the world to her.... She and her family have started a GoFundMe and PayPal accounts if anyone wishes to help Dr. Mellien in her fight. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-corinne-fight https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/corinnegrandfamily Thank you!

We understand our phone lines have been busier than ever and our appointments are booking out weeks ahead. We know all of this can be stressful and frustrating. Your patience is so appreciated!

February is the month of love, and with this comes many chocolate gifts ! However, a friendly reminder that when it comes to showing love for your pets, snuggles are always better than chocolate, which can be harmful if ingested.
