VCA All Our Pets is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Samantha Counts to our Team! Please join us in giving her a warm welcome! Although California-born, Dr. Samantha Counts spent her childhood split between Coronado, CA and Bridgewater, MA. From a young age she knew she wanted to work with animals, volunteering her time at local pet stores, farms, and zoos. Her veterinary path began at UMass Boston, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2014 whi...le simultaneously working as a veterinary assistant. After permanently moving to California, she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis in 2020. Her professional interests include behavior, exotics, internal medicine, and surgery. Additionally, as a Fear Free Certified veterinarian she feels strongly about caring for both the physical and emotional well-being of her patients. In her personal life, Dr. Counts enjoys yoga, painting, playing board games and videogames, and spending time with her kitties Biscuit, Clove, and Sassafras. See more
