. . . This is a before and after correction session #1 ... Let me tell you a little about this, she had put a blue fashion color from Sally’s on her hair, went to another stylist to get a change of color, which the person had put lightener and color remover on this to attempt to remove then put a color over it. With these fashion colors especially done at home, lightener will push the color deeper in the hair and also can result to breakage and hair damage, which this person had. There was no way her hair could handle anymore lightener at this time. So I had to really dig deep into my color toolbox to come up with alternative ways to remove this color safely and make sure this blue did not come back through as the hair fades. I first did 4 test strands to see my options. Test strands are very important! I then Naturalized the hair followed with @pravana artificial hair color remover which is very gentle on the hair when used correctly, I then dried the hair and did a @pravana hi-lift violet with 30v at the regrow then area only for 40 minutes. Rinsed and towel dried. Then did a global tone using @Pravana Express tones in in natural with a ribbon of violet and moody blue.
