It took the contractors 3 days and it turned out great!!! We are beyond happy with the finished product! We’re officially open with outdoor seating. Sundays-Thursdays 4-8pm, Fridays & Saturdays 3-9pm. Still offering takeout and free delivery within 3 miles. Also we’re on Uber Eats and Doordash. Hope to see you soon

If the air quality is better we’ll have sidewalk seating available tonight as well.

We will not be moving forward with construction of our parklet. It doesn’t make sense to spend money only to tear things down once SIP is lifted. Instead we’ll have tables on the sidewalk with clear panels separating the tables (which arrives by October 5th the earliest delivery date I could get.. We needed to update our application, so hopefully by next week we’ll have full outdoor service available. Thank you for your patience and support during this pandemic!

After 3.5 weeks of back and forth with city of Berkeley we finally got our permit last Friday. And then yesterday I received a quote to build and it honestly was completely unrealistic. We are not going to invest that kind of money only to take things down once SIP is lifted. Especially during times like these where money is very limited. On to plan B.
