That perfect moment when you see these birds on the side of your couple, the sun is setting, and you are praying they fly your way....and they did!!! And NO POOP hit this beautiful couple as well!!!

Being a destination photographer who moves every 2-3 years, its pretty rare for me to get the opportunity to photograph the same family over and over again! But when it does happen, it just makes my heart SO HAPPY! I was blessed to photograph the Klamo family when I lived in Monterey twice almost 4 years ago!... When Jennifer saw I was making a quick trip to Monterey, she booked her family session with me! To see how much her daughters have grown up and they even remember me! Her youngest still has the same pink bunny I photographed her with years ago! After the session was over, Jennifer texted me and told me her daughters said they miss me! Cue happy tears! This is why I love what I do! If I'm capturing a wedding, a family, an engagement, no matter what it is, I am pouring my whole heart into it and we are having fun! This is the best time of year to capture those smiles, the laughs, and great family photos as well! Maybe I will get to photograph YOUR family over and over again! I had a different post for today, but then I received this message on my FB Business Page: "About two years ago Vanessa photographed us at our favorite place on earth. We joked that we would do it again when we got skinny. Well, my sweet, skinny husband passed away last week after battling cancer for a year. We had a blast with Vanessa that day, and now those memories and the tangible photos are priceless to me. Thank you, Vanessa, for leaving me with these beautifu...l reminders of wonderful times spent in paradise with the love of my life. " I never take for granted the importance of my job.
