We usually tolerate a lot here at the paper but when a man drives up, tosses this beautiful little girl out of his truck and drives off nearly hitting her - that draws the line with us. If this was you, know we have five separate videos of you, including your license plate. Update: The puppy is now with animal control. They will attempt to locate this individual and hold him accountable. We’ll report on updates.

At 1206 today, Oct 25, Valley Center Fire units responded to a reported vegetation fire at Vesper and Mac Tan roads. It was found instead to be a small travel trailer fully envolved in flames. The fire was quickly suppressed and no one was injured. The occupant was not home at the time of the fire. Quick action by firefighters kept the fire from spreading into nearby palm trees. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
