Life stirs here at Valkyrie headquarters. Repairs on the 370 GT are coming along. New nose and fenders fitted after replacing/straightening several parts around the radiator supports, crash bar repaired, and new fender mounts welded on. A lot left to do but good progress. In a few weeks we should have the new rockers, rear bumper, and rear quarter panels back from the fiberglass shop! Selling our Hewland MLG-200 pneumatic paddle shift gearbox. This thing performed perfectly for us at the 2019 25 Hours of Thunderhill. It has about 30 hours on it. Depending on the application I’ve been told to rebuild it at 50 hours. It is rated for 340 ft lbs of engine torque, and our new motor will exceed that so we need to upgrade. Will include 350/370Z HR bell housing, a Driveshaft Shop carbon fiber driveshaft to fit a 370Z application. Also included is the pneumatic valve block and actuator. Just add an air source, and your own shifter electronics. $7500 shipped to the lower 48 states.

Sitting here watching live timing and scoring from the NASA Western Endurance Racing Championship, wishing we were there. The Valkyrie 370Z GT still licking her wounds from the 2019 NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill. But we’ll be back stronger and faster! New rear bumper plug being finished to create our new rear bumper and quarter bumper molds. New 4.2L 14.5:1 compression Jim Wolf Technology engine being built. Hopefully see our WERC competitors at the UMC 6 Hour in August!

It’s been a long year being away from the shop and the track. But we’re slowly reving back up operations. First on the list is fixing the 370Z GT from the 25 hour carnage. Instead of hand building aluminum side skirts again, it’s finally time to finish the fiberglass widebody molds. These are just the beginnings of the plugs used to make the molds.

Wonder how soon until we’ll get to build one? Love it.

We finally did it, it was time to take the Z out of the trailer and start the process of the rebuild, which first meant stripping it down and revisiting a lot of the emotions of that epic race. It’s either cold in the shop, Brian’s sniffing from holding back the tears, we’ll let you guys decide. Shout outs missed in the video, another flawless 25 from SPL Parts and StopTech. Space will be limited and we will have sing-ups available during the morning meeting. This will primarily be for Open and Point-By drivers! If there are vacant slots, we can get some Solo people in. After signing up, bring your video from a few laps and Brian Lock from Valkyrie will go over your lap with you! Depending on availability Brian can will be able to spend 10-15 minutes going over your lap.
