In order to do our part in preventing the spread of Covid-19 virus, we have decided to cancel all Valdez Wrestling practices. We will reassess the situation in two weeks. All scheduled Valdez payments will be frozen immediately. Credit will be given to those who have already made payment on the 1st of this month. Safety will always remain our first priority. I was fortunate enough to train with Sammie Henson while at the University of Oklahoma (around the time he won his world title). He is the biggest reason why I was an All-American. He brought my intensity to a level I didn’t know existed. My greatest beat-downs have all come from this man, but my greatest confidence in my wrestling was fostered by him as well. I can count the number of takedowns I got on him in three years on one hand... he’d probably argue I didn’t get any, ...but I’m pretty sure I snuck in 1-2 each year I highly recommend to anyone who can get to one of his camps to go!
