Road Report November 14, 2020 - Dear Vaga's, my daughter Iris and I had a wonderful 6 day trip south. Two days in San Quintín riding our quads on the beach, an overnight at Guerrero Negro, two days in Loreto sightseeing, then a nice half day drive into La Paz. Minor short areas of road or bridge repairs, otherwise no delays. We gave away bikes and toys in both Santa Rosalia and Loreto. My tenth year in a row of driving south for the Winter. Loved it all, Steve Ott November 1...0, 2020 - We crossed at Calexico and there was absolutely no problem crossing the border. Just needed to mask up. A Mexican border officer filled out everything on our Visa, and walked me back to our van. Dragan Dujmovic October 12, 2020 - We had an uneventful trip down from San Luis to Mulege. Road from Mexicali through San Felipe to Highway 1 is the best it has ever been. There is some road construction but short delays just before you get to San Ignacio and between Santa Rosalia and Mulege. Gas past Guerrero Negro is 20.3 pesos for regular (87 octane). Check points were very casual and really quick, didn't even ask to open our trailer. Colin Campbell October 10-18, 2020 - Our travel report is great. Oct 10, 2020, southbound 5 after crossing in Mexicali. We were inspected at the border no issues. The 5 south to the 1 to Bahia De Los Angeles is now completely paved. There is a small section of asphalt with plenty of pot holes, just south of San Felipe, but we were able to shave 2 hours off our drive without the detours and bridge construction crossings. The military checkpoints were passed through with no problems. Bahia De Los Angeles was completely open. David Llanes
