The latest and greatest of insider news. This is Mason ice as of Tuesday. Concrete is in and now to re build the foam, sand and refrigeration tubing. Were so close I can feel the chill.

It may look like we're getting further behind but are actually making great progress. Piping issue has been repaired and the backfill process has began. This picture is from Thursday afternoon. Before you know it it will be freezing once again. Mason ice 2014

Attention free hockey families and friends! As I'm sure you all know by now, our good friend and coach Brian Cowell has relocated with his family. While he will be missed here, I am beyond thrilled to be taking over for him. My name is Kody Thomas and I have assisted in the free hockey program for the last couple of years as well as running in house programs and coaching the mites travel team. I have way too much love for this sport, and feel it's my job to teach every player to love it the same way. I can't wait to implement new ideas into our program and watch the players grow on and off the ice. I will do my best to personally introduce myself to all families at the rink, if I haven't talked to you yet, feel free to grab me and introduce yourself. Thanks, and see you guys at the rink!

Saturday morning kicked off another exiting installment if Vacaville Free Hockey. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped get everyone on the ice on time and thanks to all the parents for bringing out their kids. This is gonna be a great group!
