Collaboration is King! Thank you to @fresnobike for donating bikes to the State Valley Prison Project and for the inmates to fix up the bikes to get them ready for the next bike riders! We were able to donate some of these bikes to the new bike club at King Elementary School in SW Fresno today! Bike Safe Fresno is excited to work with King Elementary and other schools starting early 2021 on the Fresno State Challenge on how can we get more kids to bike to school

We love the PSA Let‘s Go submitted by @ro_productions for the Green Apple Video Competition, but one thing was missing: helmets for a safe bike riding experience. Thank you to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission @cityoffresno for donating helmets for our PSA crew so that everybody can safely ride the next time it’s time to go outside and enjoy bike riding!

Congrats @ucmerced, who as first research university achieved carbon neutrality, and this two years ahead of schedule! Sustainability is built into the campus, where every building gets LEED certified. Better yet, through the LEED lab and office of sustainability, students are actively involved in sustainability initiatives, combining green achievements with workforce development! #greenleadership #leed #centralvalley #sanjoaquinvalley

Decarbonization in the building sector is achievable and is already happening. Through renewable energy we have managed a 20% reduction. Still a long ways to go but we’re taking the necessary steps! #usgbc #usgbccc #greenbuilding #greenbuildings #southwestfresno #fresno #downtownfresno #climatechange #climatesolutions #renewableenergy #greenenergy
