USF Yuchengco Philippine Studies Program (YPSP) 11.01.2021

Happy Pilipinx American History Month! Please see the calendar below for this year's events schedule!

USF Yuchengco Philippine Studies Program (YPSP) 25.12.2020

Longtime YPSP faculty member, Fr. Sonny Manuel, recently retired from USF. The Yuchengco Philippine Studies Program remains grateful for Fr. Sonny's service and devotion to the program, our students, and the wider university community. Here is a message from Fr. Sonny: I am grateful for collaborating with YPSP over the years especially on the early immersion trips to the Philippines, establishing the Casa Bayanihan Program in Manila and recruiting the participation and suppor...t of faculty and students, the reception YPSP hosted for Ateneo President Jet Villarin, S.J., the annual Simbang Gabi masses, etc. I'm glad for the home and welcome I always received from Jay Gonzalez (first YPSP director) and James Zarsadiaz (current YPSP director) and YPSP colleagues. I am now beginning a new post-retirement venture - a private clinical practice. Please contact me at [email protected] if you are interested in therapy with a psychologist familiar with our culture and heritage. I will keep you and your efforts in my prayers! Blessings and be well, Sonny
