USC Kappa Alpha Theta

Our April Leading Women of the Month are seniors Claire Monro and Claire Fisher! They’re an iconic duoinseparable since they met in Switzerland as freshmenso it’s only fitting that they’ve stuck together during this difficult time. As business majors, they refused to let the last two months of their senior year go to waste, and have used their entrepreneurial mindset to help local businesses in need. They created t-shirt designs to sell through an online fundraising platfor...m, and will soon be selling them at the USC bookstore. All proceeds go directly to helping the businesses that USC students know and love stay open, including El Huero, Caveman Kitchen, and more. Our December Leading Woman of the Month is Jacky Norris! Jacky is a Business Administration major with minor in Communication Design, and spent the past summer working as a product marketing intern at Estée Lauder in New York City. She also spent the last year serving as the COO of Theta! She spends her free time as a mentor with Women and Youth Supporting Each Other (WYSE), where she goes to middle schools in the surrounding area to teach girls about positive body image and healthy relationships. Theta is so proud of you, Jacky!

This Thursday, Kappa Alpha Theta Omicron will be having our annual fall philanthropy event, Theta Late Night. Theta Late Night is an event for all USC students to come to our parking lot for an all-you-can-eat food event with local vendors and food trucks. There will be a wide range of foods available from In N Out, Dominos, a nacho bar, made-to-order donuts as well as giant games for students to come and play! This country-themed event is a great opportunity for the entire U...SC community to come together for a good cause. All proceeds will directly go to our philanthropy, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), as well as the Theta Foundation.
