Russell B. and Dorothy M. Gottenborg Fellowship Fund: Scholarships are awarded to qualified veterans who are interested in participating in experiential learning opportunities. Only open to Dornsife majors.The Gottenborg Scholarship provides funding to help qualified veterans connect with experiential learning opportunities, which includes professional conferences, alternative break, Maymester and PWP programs. Volunteer Research Position Available at CHLA Sports Concussion Program (5 hours per week): The Sports Concussion Program at CHLA is seeking volunteer research assistants (RAs) to enter data remotely for a concussion database. RAs will be trained to collect data from medical files and enter the clinical data into the clinical repository. RAs will be asked to volunteer for one year.... Duties will include remote data collection and remote data entry. The successful RA will have a track-record of taking initiative, being highly organized and detail oriented. There are no requirements to work on site at the hospital. Opportunities to contribute to study abstracts and conference posters will be available for RAs that continue beyond the year. Spring 2021 Research Internship at The Wilson Center: The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars is looking for qualified students (advanced undergraduate or graduate) interested in being part-time research assistant interns in the Spring 2021 semester. An intern typically works 12-15 hours a week per scholar (the number of hours can be adjusted accordingly to fulfill academic requirements). Students at HACU-member institutions can apply for one of the five ($2,000) Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarships to be awarded.
