Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! 2020 was a year like no other and a year we didn’t see coming at all, but we can all agree we have learned something that we can take away to bring into the new year and somethings that we have learned and plan to leave behind in 2020. Okay here it goes...... . First and far most I am so incredibly GRATEFUL for all of our clients that have supported us every year in the last 18 years, but ESPECIALLY this year! As a small business owner with ful...l transparency we truly couldn’t have made it through this year without your support! . Pivoting the business during these crazy times was a challenge like no other. Working 10 times harder than ever before with no certainty at all if it was going to pay off was probably the scariest thing, but pumping the breaks due to fear was not an option and no matter how scary it gets you gotta keep your foot on the gas (and I’m so glad I did!) . Slowing down, remain flexible, and having a positive mindset is SO important. . Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your body. Self care, self love, and surrounding yourself with people that support you and lift you is a must! . Its okay to cry and just let it all out sometimes. I used to associate crying to weakness and that is definitely not the case! It’s so important to acknowledge your feelings, feel them, and have a good cry every now and then. . EVERYTHING is temporary including this pandemic, but we need to be patient in order for things to go back to normal . Yoga pants became life and I can’t say I mind . Zoom is a must in both business and personal life (who would have thought?!) . I’ve spent more time with shop dog Duke than ever before and I am so grateful to have him as my companion . Don’t stress over situations you have no control over. If you can do something about it do it, but if it’s not in your control learn don’t let it take over your peace.
