Hey dear friends! Three of our housemates are wanting to get to Wisconsin next weekend for the Federation of Preparation Makers gathering at Michael Fields Agri...cultural Institute. We are seeking support to raise $1000 which include airplane tickets and conference fees. We have initiated a Biodynamic Urban Gardening and Community Development in Los Angeles in Mid City and this journey to Wisconsin will also support our work in Chicago as this is also the farming community we wish to be a part of with the biodynamic outpost in the city. Aeschylus On this day we celebration Dr. King who said 'tomorrow is today'.... when speaking of the urgency each day to awaken to a higher purpose that seeks to make straight the way for a more beautiful humanity, especially for a country that dares to call itself a Christian Nation. Tonight at the Have Seeds House we are gathering together to look at some of his past speeches and to consider those things, new forms, that might bring about a renewal of civilization in our own country at this time. Dear friends! Our Elderberries Threefold Cafe community has formed as a non profit organization under S20: We are a non profit organization that focuses broadl...y on strengthening, unifying and building the economic, cultural, educational and social services of an urban community or neighborhood. This non profit will work as the umbrella for our initiatives here in North America. Frank Agrama and Dottie Zold are the co-founders along with many supporting friends from around the world. Seeing through the lens of Rudolf Steiner’s practical work that can strengthen the emergent qualities in cultural, economic and the rights realms in local communities is our foundation. We are now seeding a Los Angeles Biodynamic Urban Gardening initiative led by Joseph S; a Monarch Butterfly initiative led by Ari; and working with Joan J. in the Threefold Research Fellowship Group. In Chicago we are meeting with local biodynamic farmers in the heartland so as to create a Biodynamic Outpost in the city at our space on Lincoln Avenue where we have the amazing support of the Rudolf Steiner Branch of Chicago to keep on striving towards our hope of a 'Michaelic renewal in the shortest time possible': a wish of Ita Wegman and the young doctors after the death of their beloved teacher. It begins at four and there are ride shares for friends wanting to join up for intentional community conversation, games and movement! :)

Elderberries/Urban First Aid - Art As Medicine study group starts up again tonight at 5:30pm - 7:30pm. It takes place at the cafe. We will pick up my teacher Dennis Klocek's book Knowledge, Teaching and the Death of the Mysterious. If you do not have the book no worries as we have 4 to follow along with.
