UpSwing is so very excited to be working with such talented video/film artists A.K. Sandhu @a.k.shoots and David Creech #davidcreechvideo on the filming and editing of our next 2 dance-for-video projects. More as we get closer to release dates.

UpSwing Company has shifted to finding new ways of sharing our work with you during this pandemic. These are sliced images from 3 dance-for-video projects we are in the process of creating or have finished during this pandemic and with the generous support of our donors this past July. Like so many performers, we lost all income when the pandemic hit the US. Through UpSwing's FB Live fundraiser, we raised funds for the creation of 2 new video projects and the ability to pay rent at the studio for the Fall. No matter how you slice 2020... The art doesn't stop, we find ourselves reflecting the present. All 3 of these video projects express the human capacity to overcome obstacles and to communicate through our isolation.

Open Door Dance Theater at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX is presenting a virtual "Homecoming" dance showcase. While all concerts will be available asynchronously, on October 15, 16, 17 (T/F/S), shows 1, 2, and 3 will be presented respectively.
