This is a reminder of the end of Daylight Savings and that this Sunday is November 1st, Communion Sunday at Up Country Community Church. We invite you to join us, service starts at 10am.

UpCountry Community Church, in partnership with Calvary Chapel and located in front of Camp Chiquita, will have it's food bank today from 3-4pm.

Matthew 12:22-37

Matthew 12:15-21 Hostility With Christ Meditate on the following: 1. The Pharisees were hostile towards Christ (they conspired to destroy Him), but masked their hatred with what they would call helpfulness. 2. All sin is hostility towards Christ, and we must be careful not to try to minimize the truth of God's Word by trying to be helpful to ourselves and others by watering it down.... 3. Even though we are hostile in mind towards Christ, He is gracious and merciful towards us. This is demonstrated in Christ becoming sin for us (to satisfy God's wrath and judgment), so that we might in Him become the righteousness of God. Jesus is God's Chosen Servant. 4. We must recognize our hostility towards Christ, repent of it, and believe in the Gospel, not merely as a one time act, but as a way of life. See more

Hope you are all doing well on this Palm Sunday!! Hoping to have a short sermon this evening uploaded as we continue our study in the Gospel of Matthew. The reading will be Matthew 12:15-21.
