WOW. We've done some clean ups on some really bad pools in our days but this is by FAR the worst ever. For 2 guys it took 10 HOURS to clean this whole thing up. This pool has sat empty for 20 years. The plaster is very stained even after an acid wash and chlorine wash. The pool was covered in upwards of 2' deep leaves, plants were growing inside the pool, and a TREE was growing into the skimmer!! Glad to put this one into the portfolio. Many clients often times ask if the acid wash is going to make the surface more rough. Typically, it actually ends up more smooth than before the acid wash because the scale built up on the surface is removed.
