The Pharmaceutical and Chemical Sciences graduate program is hosting a a joint research symposium with guests from China Pharmaceutical University on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 8:30AM - 4:30PM. Talks and posters will involve current research in drug development and fundamental chemistry topics. All are welcome to attend. See you there!

In continuation of our new Biochemistry faculty professor search, Professor Anthony Bell Jr. will be visiting us on Dec 3-4 (Today and Tomorrow) His research talk is on DNA binding; specifically "The development of novel nucleic acid ligands against the DNA-binding cytokine, High Mobility Group B1 (HMGB1)"... The department of chemistry would like undergraduates and graduate students to participate in these events by asking questions and providing comments to aid in the decision making process.

The Department of Chemistry is in the process of looking for an additional Biochemistry Faculty Professor. Each candidate will be presenting their own research in the form of a seminar talk, followed by a teaching demo announced at a different time. The department of chemistry would like undergraduates and graduate students to participate in these events by asking questions and providing comments to aid in the decision making process.
