Last week, UTA's Inclusion team hosted the second installment of our Historical Black College and University tour. We had over 400 students attend this 5-day virtual event, and over 50 colleagues and clients (including Anthony Anderson, Danai Gurira, Lala Anthony, David E. Talbert, Stefon Bristol, Tia Mowry, and Kamie Crawford) spoke to #HBCU students across the country. HBCUs not only give students a quality education, but also expose them to career opportunities that have ...historically not been an option. As professionals in the entertainment field, we can and should be part of this important work. This tour strengthens our commitment to a more diverse workplace it is important for us to reach this community and let them know that they have a place here at UTA and within the entertainment industry. As part of our commitment to recognizing the rich and diverse history of America that is reflected here at UTA, we are excited to celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth. Congratulations to longtime UTA client Charles Woodson, who was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2021 this honor is a recognition of an elite 18 year NFL career with both the Raiders and Packers. During his NFL career, Woodson was a Super Bowl Champion (XLV), 9-time Pro Bowler, 4-time First Team All Pro, 4-time Second Team All Pro, 2-time NFL Interception Leader, 2009 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and 1998 NFL Rookie of the Year. #PFHOF2021
