Every week, babies in the 3rd trimester are killed in Colorado by a man named Warren Hern. He injects an overdose of medication into their hearts. Two days late...r, he delivers a dead baby...a baby that could have lived on its own outside of his/her mother's womb. All abortion is wrong. All of it. I want you to hear me when I say that. However, there is something particularly barbaric about a baby being tortured inside its mother's womb for 24-48 hours while being painfully overdosed. Many times, the mother can feel her baby agonizing in pain as he/she dies. The media wants to tell you that these are babies that have all been given terrible prenatal diagnoses or that their mother's lives are in danger. However, that is simply not true. Doe allows an abortion for "emotional, financial, relational" or any other reason. So, for any reason. Your boyfriend breaks up with you? That's relational. Your job cuts your hours? That's financial. Can you legally kill a baby in the 30th week of pregnancy for those reasons? You absolutely can. Do people do this? They absolutely do. There will be a vote in Colorado called Prop 115. If passed, it will end late term abortion. I know this is far from our end goal, but my goodness, everyone should agree that late term abortion must end. If you live in Colorado, vote YES on Prop 115 and please spread the word! #YesOn115

Dear MC Faithful, Pro-Life Warrior, Anne Marie Tassone, (1952-2020), passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2020 after a battle with cancer. She was on home hospice and was visited and attended to by many friends who came to pray with her. Her siblings and family friend, Rose, were at her side until she departed to join her parents and other loved ones. She had many crosses to bear in life but she never wavered in her Faith in the Lord. She was a model of Catholic fa...ith and died a happy death. It was beautiful.Anne Marie was predeceased by her loving and faithful parents, Louie and Prisca, fixtures in the Pro-Life movement in the '70's and '80's. She leaves behind her beloved son, Nicholas, siblings Michael (Donna), Tad (Barbara), Catherine (Bruce), Joe (Tomoko), Teresa and her 13 nieces and nephews and 6 greats.Anne Marie was a 3rd order lay Franciscan, who attended Mass almost daily like her parents and was a dedicated member of 40 Days for Life, United for Life, other pro-life groups, supported EWTN, Food for the Poor, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Bishop of Oakland.
