Mulberry. It is fun to pick up the ugliest piece of wood and see what can be made from it.

More tools I have made. I acquired an inexpensive HF mini metal lathe and turned the aluminum holders for the tool cutters so the cutters could be removable. Schedule 40 3/4" pvc and aluminum pipe are used for the handles.

I picked up an incomplete Rockler tool holder that mounts on the lathe bed. The tools did not feel secure in the holder so I added some PVC fittings to it. Then I made a rolling cabinet for the tools - also using PVC fittings for some of the tool holes. Thought about using a commercial rolling tool cabinet and adding a lathe tool rack on top of it but the space I have available is too small. This cabinet is 24" wide by 12" deep. Many people make tool racks with the cutting edges pointing up. They look nice but I am certain that I would frequently hit the cutting edges when reaching for tools in the back.

Christmas projects for this year. Tried some different designs for Christmas trees and a simple design for angels. The Christmas trees are very popular again this year. Planning to do some different designs for the angels and some Christmas tree ornaments.
