That said, the plank is a great exercise for your core, so it’s great to implement in your workout routine. Today I want to challenge you to push your plank a bit further by adding weights. ... Start in a plank position with a dumbbell in your right hand. Pull your elbow up toward the ceiling, squeezing your right shoulder blade toward your spine.
