Our friends thought we were mad when we decided to take on another fixer. This triplex needed everything. However the electrical looked to be in good shape - that is until we opened up the wall and found aluminum foils connecting everything together. We wanted to maintain its Traditional charm but bring it up to the modern age (new electrical, plumbing, fixtures, seismic, sound proofing, etc). From start to finish, it took over year and a half, a lot longer than expected, but worth it at the end.
