Unger Primary Care has promised our members that we would provide the most comprehensive and evidence-based care for our patients during the COVID pandemic and we have delivered. To date, Unger Primary Care has assisted 56 patients who have tested positive for COVID. Some of our patients are residents of other states. Thanks to our telemedicine platform, Dr. Unger was able to assess and treat these patients by calling them daily, assessing their conditions, and recommending ...treatment when needed. Dr. Unger’s research site in Montclair, CA. enrolled several patients into our Regeneron study. Qualified patients and family members were able to receive an IV transfusion of medication and undergo frequent COVID testing at no charge. To date, 290 patients have received doses of the Moderna vaccine in the Unger Primary Care Parking lot drive-through events. Dr. Unger would like to thank every one of our volunteers who made this possible. Lisa Unger did an incredible job of securing the vaccines from the County and organizing the events. You may have recognized Lisa at the entry point to our parking lot. On April 23, we vaccinated 110 patients in less than 3 hours. Talk about efficiency! Dr. Unger will continue to keep our patients informed about the latest advances in COVID-19 treatments and vaccines.
