Did you know that Eleanor Roosevelt was the longest serving First Lady of the United States? At first, she was reluctant to assume the role, because it had traditionally been one of domesticity and hostessing. However, she set out to redefine the position, and became the first presidential spouse to hold regular press conferences, write a daily newspaper column, write a monthly magazine column, host a weekly radio show, and speak at a national party convention. Roosevelt even served as U.S. Delegate to the United Nations General Assembly. President Harry S. Truman later called her the "First Lady of the World" because of her human rights achievements. What an inspiration!

The first rule of credit card debt is to not get into credit card debt. So do your best to only charge what you can afford to pay off each month. And, if you’re carrying a balance, pay as much as you can towards it each month, rather than the minimum payment. The faster you pay it off, the less money you’ll pay. When it comes to credit cards, interest is not your friend which means the higher the interest, the more you’ll end up paying on that balance. Most credit card comp...anies charge high interest rates, which makes paying off those balances challenging, because it adds to your balance each month. #Ugh If you find yourself with a balance on a higher rate credit card, consider transferring that balance to a lower rate card (like ours!), which will save you from continuing to pay more interest over and over.
