NEW! Our stunning Kikatsu Ribbed 7801 Glasses from Tokyo are hand-blown and etched, featuring a traditional technique for cutting glass by hand by the name of Edo Kiriko. Choose from a 12oz Old Fashioned Glass, 2oz Sake Glass, or 14oz tall Zombie Glass. The Edo Kiriko technique typically has featured long-held traditional design patterns that harken back to renaissance-like Edo period in which artisans and merchants were at the forefront of Japanese culture, but designer Shiz...uyo Saegusa has since infused these designs with more modern artistic elements. Even though these glasses are mouth-blown and cut entirely by hand, note that each glass is almost identical in size and position of pattern; each glass is finished lovingly and with a razor thin margin of error. Due to this uncompromising quality control, the only glasses which make it to market are the ones deemed satisfactory to the artisan.

Remember our little conbini (convenience store) at the back of our old store? When we moved, we received several requests for the mini shop to come back to our new location stocking snacks, noodles, easy dinner sauces, and condiments, just like you'd find at a conbini in Japan. We've relaunched it here online just for you! Here are some fun new items you'll find at our conbini (silly/serious self-care products mandatory).

Indulge your glassware fetish with these hand-blown crystal glasses incorporating kin hari, or gold leaves. Modern in design, each precious leaf is hand set in the glass, creating a landscape with the gold leaves representing the sky (when flecked on the top) or the earth (when flecked on the bottom). Choose from Kin Hari Rocks Glass, Sake Glasses, or Sake Carafe.

Still making SIP sourdough? This one's for you! MAC has a reputation for utilitarian, lightweight, and ergonomic knives that are easily sharpened and fit a variety of uses in the kitchen without breaking the bank. It's with this in mind that we are delighted to bring to you the MAC Superior Bread Knife 10.5". This knife was among the first to set its teeth backwards, so the cutting happens on the pull as opposed to the push. This allows the blade to do most of the work, allowing for less pushing; the result is less fatigue from cutting, and fewer crumbs from the bread.
